Job Summary
This position reports to the Marine Director. The Marine Analyst is responsible for leading and coordinating LNG vessel loading plans and supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable execution of marine operations among other marine team duties. This role serves as a key interface between Marine Operations, Operations, Maintenance, Commercial, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of production capabilities, maintenance activities, dock availability, and customer scheduling requirements.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment while maintaining strong communication across departments.
LNG Marine industry experience is preferred. General bulk liquid marine terminal vessel ship/shore cargo transfer operations knowledge, excellent computer literacy skills, in particular, with Excel and Outlook and the various functions of Microsoft Office, are required.
Location/Travel Information
This position is based at the Quintana LQF Terminal with travel to off-site locations as required. This position requires the incumbent to hold a valid, unexpired driver license at all times in order to perform the essential functions of the job.

Essential Functions
Minimum Qualification/Work Experience
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Minimum Experience: 1+ years' experience in logistics, transportation, marine, operations, energy, LNG, or shipping environments. Basic understanding of vessel scheduling, marine transportation, and supply chain principles.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Maritime Studies, Marine Transportation, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Preferred Experience: 5+ years' experience in logistics, transportation, marine, operations, energy, LNG, or shipping environments. Understanding of vessel scheduling, marine transportation, and supply chain principles.
Knowledge of LNG transportation fundamentals
Familiarity with AIS vessel tracking systems, SAP, Power BI, or similar analytics tools
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
HSE Roles and Responsibilities
Support the policies, efforts, and programs of Freeport LNG Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System. Actively participate in the HSE Management System Policies. Ensure that HSE concerns are given priority in all activities completed within their area of responsibility. Implement routine inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
