Resolution Economics is headquartered in Los Angeles (Century City) with additional offices in Downtown Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Chicago, New York City, Morristown, Charlotte, Austin, and Philadelphia.

Working at Resolution Economics is a rewarding experience where teamwork, creativity, and academic rigor combine to generate real-world results. We regularly apply data analytical, statistical, and economic methods to create compelling narratives that are digestible to non-technical audiences. Our work often plays an important role in influencing State and Federal case law and directly impacts the outcomes of future litigation and the contours of workplace policies. In addition, the analyses that we perform inform settlement discussions, as parties attempt to resolve issues out of Court. Given the high-stakes and the large number of potential class members, our clients depend on our adaptability, efficiency, and ability to maintain a high degree of reliability in our work.

The Labor and Employment Practice brings economic rigor to employment-related litigation and consulting. We offer expertise in wage and hour disputes, pay equity, class action exposure analysis, economic damages analysis in single plaintiff, multiple plaintiff, and mass torts claims, as well as economic impact studies. Our labor economists and statisticians deliver data-driven insights that are grounded in real-world context and customized to each client's legal strategy.

The Analyst role will regularly provide research, data entry, data verification, assist with verification of economic damages- related data and analysis, and expert witness services in labor and employment, personal injury & wrongful death, business loss profits, wrongful advertising, professional malpractice, and intellectual property disputes. Clients rely on us to provide complex exposure models, expert reports, preparation for depositions, rebuttals to the work of other experts, and expert testimony at deposition or trial.

Job Description:

The Analyst is a full-time, hourly position at Resolution Economics. Analysts will assist with the data creation and the document management portion of our casework. This also includes data entry, data collection, researching publicly available data sources, and document review. Analysts also assist with administrative duties in relation to casework such as copying case documents, preparing binders, and traveling to client sites to pick-up/drop-off documents and performing other general and ad hoc tasks as needed. Analysts will gain an understanding of the consulting environment and will learn how the field of Economics is used within the legal system.

Wage Scale:

Analysts are paid at a base hourly rate of $32.00 for non-overtime work hours, subject to all required deductions and withholding, and not including the value of benefits under any Resolution Economics-maintained benefit plan.
