Description

Position Overview

Grove Lane Partners is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to support the President and Head of Operations for the Private Wealth business, helping execute high-impact strategic and operational initiatives across the firm. This role offers a unique opportunity for an early-career professional to gain broad exposure to the private wealth business, working directly with senior leadership on a diverse portfolio of special projects.

The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment that demands both rigorous analytical thinking and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Special Projects

  • Support the President and Head of Operations on a range of cross-functional special projects, including strategic planning, competitive analysis, and firm-wide initiatives.
  • Conduct research and synthesize information on market trends, industry dynamics, peer firms, and investment themes relevant to the firm’s strategy.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, briefing materials, and talking points for internal and external audiences.
  • Track and manage project timelines, deliverables, and follow-up items on behalf of senior leadership.

Analysis & Reporting

  • Assist in the preparation of internal management reports and board materials.
  • Analyze portfolio company and fund-level data to identify trends and surface actionable insights.
  • Support due diligence processes and investment-related workstreams as needed.

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Manage logistical preparation for key meetings, including agenda setting, recording notes, and post-meeting follow-up.
  • Coordinate across internal teams — including investments, investor relations, legal, and finance — to advance leadership priorities.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist with ad hoc requests and time-sensitive assignments at the direction of the President and Head of Operations.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience; internship experience in investment management, investment banking, consulting, or financial services is strongly preferred.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and concise outputs.
  • High level of integrity, sound judgment, and ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with private wealth, alternative investments, or financial markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Proactive, self-starting approach with a genuine interest in the private wealth space.
