Analyst, Product Surveillance

Location: Burlington, MA

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 8 months
  • Pay Rate: $35.97 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is an entry-level role supporting product surveillance for a complex medical device specifically, a heart pump managing day-to-day events and qualitative data related to product and patient information coming in from the field. The selected candidate will be in front of a computer for the entire day and will be successful if they can manage their time effectively and efficiently. The hiring manager is open to fresh college graduates with internship or capstone project work; a candidate with a Biomedical degree would be a particularly good fit, as this role allows for future opportunities. The manager is also open to someone with a background and/or degree in Technology or the Sciences. If a person has 0 2 years of coursework or work experience, they will be considered. A person who has juggled a job and school, or a sport and school, is considered a strong candidate profile for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day events and qualitative data related to product and patient information coming in from the field for a complex product, which is a heart pump
  • Utilize the MS Office suite, including basic Excel, to support product surveillance activities
  • Apply strong organizational, communication, attention-to-detail, and time management skills to perform effectively in this role

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Technology, Sciences, or a related field preferred; candidates with 0 2 years of coursework or work experience (including internship or capstone project work) will be considered

Important Notes

  • There will be a first round of interviews consisting of a 20-minute phone screen to assess for fit and culture, followed by a second round of an in-person interview for 30 minutes with the hiring manager and 30 minutes with another group.
  • This is not a statistical data analysis role candidates should thoroughly review the job description to understand the qualitative, day-to-day product surveillance nature of the position prior to interviewing.
