Title: Utility Data Analyst Location: Pomona, CA (Hybrid-2 days Mon & Tue) Type: Contract Duration: 16+ Months (Potentially Extended) Pay rate: $35/hr on W2 (All inclusive)
Job Summary
Day-to-Day Responsibilities / Workload
Support key Remediation Management activities and short-term project workstreams with limited interdependencies.
Perform program management tasks, track deliverables, and analyze data and feedback to ensure alignment with Transmission & Distribution notification scope.
Gather and interpret program performance data for reporting to Senior Advisors / Advisors.
Support Compliance Notification work through the IPSEC workflow by the compliance due date.
Utilize dashboards, trackers, and systems of record to monitor, track, and report work progression.
Apply District and/or Regional scheduling procedures and notification disposition in accordance with E1 policy and GO95 standards.
Decipher notification problem statements to determine resource needs.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, communicate progress, and address concerns.
Identify risks, anticipate challenges, resolve issues, and proactively find solutions to keep notifications moving forward.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy, including data cleanup efforts.
Collaborate with Senior Advisors / Advisors, regional and district stakeholders, and serve as a technical resource for notification compliance and remediation processes.
Required Skills / Attributes
Experience in the utility industry, particularly Transmission & Distribution Operations or program management.
5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, including managing and validating large or complex datasets and working with reporting platforms.
Experience with District and/or Regional scheduling processes and notification dispositioning in alignment with E1 policy and GO95 requirements.
Experience with Power BI, SAP, DM, DCPT, DCRT, ClickSchedule, WorkIt, and FMP360.
Experience preparing weekly and monthly status reports to monitor compliance performance.
Fundamental knowledge of the IPSEC lifecycle and compliance notifications, including P1/P2/P3 classifications and required end dates.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, or analytical tools such as SAS, SAS Visual Analytics (VA), or BI Dashboards.
Strong focus on identifying improvement opportunities across the IPSEC lifecycle to drive operational excellence and compliance performance.
Education Requirement
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Desired Skills / Attributes
Bachelor's degree in an applicable profession, business, or technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Effective team building, resource planning, and project planning skills.
Understanding of E1 policy and GO95 Rule 18.
Knowledge of Transmission & Distribution systems, including Apparatus, Civil, Electrical Crew, and Streetlight systems, as well as primary, secondary, public, overhead, and underground structures and equipment
