How you''ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
What We''re Offering: The Rotational Finance Development
Program (FDP) provides two complementary 18-month assignments in areas such as Treasury, Internal Audit, Financial Planning & Analysis, Operational Finance, Investor Relations, Fuel Management, and Division Controllership, to enable participants to explore different parts of our business.
Participants are expected to take ownership of projects and business challenges, including identifying issues, conducting analyses, developing recommendations, and synthesizing complex analyses into concise business recommendations for leadership. Successful participants actively seek feedback, incorporate coaching into their work, and continuously improve throughout each rotation. FDPs are also encouraged to proactively build relationships across Finance and the broader organization to gain perspective, accelerate learning, and increase impact.
Delta''s Finance team plays a critical role in shaping strategic decisions and driving the long-term financial success of the airline. Program participants receive focused attention to help develop their interdepartmental network as well as professional development opportunities. In addition to the rotational aspect, the program offers opportunities to network with senior leaders across the organization, work on a cross-divisional project to gain exposure to other areas of the business, and mentorship opportunities.
