Analyst, Supply Chain

JOB SUMMARY: A Hospital Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing and improving supply chain operations to ensure the right products are available at the right time while controlling costs and supporting high-quality patient care. This role uses data analysis, inventory management, purchasing trends, and operational metrics to optimize inventory levels, improve procurement processes, and identify cost-saving opportunities across the health system. The analyst works closely with clinical departments, finance, purchasing, vendors, and distribution teams to maintain efficient supply chain operations, resolve supply issues, and support strategic initiatives. EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE: Required: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify process improvement opportunities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience creating reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. Knowledge of inventory management, procurement, contract compliance, and supply chain best practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
