Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) is seeking a new addition to our Telecom Funding Team. Working within CHC Information Technology Services, as a member of the Telecom Services team, you will contribute to the day to day operation of the Telecommunication & USAC service line by supporting department leadership, managing healthcare client administrative functions, assisting with government funding programs, and monitoring data trends to ensure efficient internal operations and high-quality client service delivery.  A background in the telecom industry is desired. This individual must be organized and possess strong analytical skills.

Requirements

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum 2 years administrative and client support experience 
  • Minimum 2 years data management experience 
  • Experience analyzing billing, invoicing, and performance data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in education, certifications and related experience.

Major Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily administrative and operational processes to support healthcare client participation in government funding programs, including the universal service Rural Healthcare (RHC) Telecommunications Program and Healthcare Connect Fund Program which are administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) under the direction of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). 
  • Work with the team, clients, and other stakeholders representing corporate staff, consultants, telecommunications vendors, and healthcare partners to gather necessary data and documentation, analyze data, submit forms, maintain records, and respond to requests, to ensure compliance with applicable government funding program rules and federal regulations.  Assist with maintaining and tracking CHC Telecom Services process documents, customer database, and telecommunications vendor accounts and corresponding contact information. 
  • Provide support to complete application steps, including form preparations, submissions, reviews, and issue resolution or escalation, as related to program eligibility, competitive bidding, funding requests, and invoicing, to maximize clients’ available funding for eligible telecommunications services, broadband services and network equipment and facilitate Healthcare IT cost savings. 
  • Assist with special projects as needed to support data, report, and analysis efforts, and other specific duties as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
