Seeking experienced Analyst for Global HR Technology

The Analyst role will continually refine and optimize the design, structure and functionality inherent in a complex, global deployment of Workday. It will support end users by investigatingand resolving issues encountered. It will shape the HR technology roadmap by making recommendations to business process owners and other key stakeholders regarding best practice design and adoption of newly released functionality. It will also nurture internal and external relationships to create a robust network of contacts.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically promote Workday's capabilities within the organization.
• Enforce governance of the global technology platform, adhering to guiding philosophies and sound design principles.
• Create and maintain training, job aids, communication and change management plans and actions to ensure that new processes and systems capabilities are broadly understood.
• Maintain awareness and inventory of current Workday configuration, access, security administration, compliance, integrations, reports and dashboards.
• Anticipate, evaluate, test and recommend newly released functionality for assigned modules.
• Analyze existing data structures to streamline and simplify setup values.
• Partner with colleagues from Shared Services and IT to investigate and resolve critical issues using independent research and testing, Workday Community and other external customer contacts or – when necessary – working with AMS provider / Workday.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across the HR service areas (learning and development, talent acquisition, talent management, inclusion & diversity, audit / compliance, labor relations) to promote data governance and stewardship, and to improve overall strategic and operational performance and insight.
• Lead significant phases of major initiatives (implementation of new modules or significant functionality deployment), including project management, requirements definition, testing, etc.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• 3 years of experience assisting with full-lifecycle implementations and/or supporting a live, global Workday instance. Will consider comparable experience on other technology platforms.

• Workday Pro certification in at least two modules (one should be either HCM or Payroll)

• Experience acting in a key resource capacity for full-lifecycle Workday implementation(s) and/or supporting a live, global Workday instance.

• Creative: able to grasp the linkages between various modules and overlapping ideas (e.g. security domains, reference IDs, eligibility rules, etc.) and combine them in novel and unique ways; strong critical thinking skills; generates out-of-the-box solutions to atypical requirements
• Knowledgeable: has prior experience supporting, designing, implementing or supporting Workday; driven to learn the nuances of Workday's architecture; thoroughly tests to the point of comprehension
