Position: Analytical Chemist
Type:Contract
Compensation:$65–$75 per task
Location:Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in Chemistry and Chemical Safety, labeled as benign, dual-use, and adversarial.
• Evaluate model responses against a defined policy standard to ensure correct handling.
• Write reference answers with technical reasoning for correct responses.
• Differentiate routine professional questions from those fishing for misuse.
• Collaborate with practitioners to draw reliable lines in dual-use scenarios.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Experience in detection and identification of hazardous compounds using GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, IR, NMR.
• Method development and validation for trace-level analysis.
• Background in environmental, occupational, or emergency-response sampling and analysis.
• Experience with reference standards, spectral libraries, and unknown identification.
• Laboratory accreditation, QA/QC, and proficiency testing.
