Analytical Chemist

Our client, a leading organization in food chemistry testing, is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join their team. As an Analytical Chemist, you will be part of the Food Chemistry Department supporting laboratory operations and analytical testing. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Analytical Chemist - 3rd Shift

Location: Madison, WI

Pay Range: $21 + Shift Differential ($23.52/hr)

Shift: 3rd Shift: Mon-Thurs 10:00 pm - 8:30 am

What's the Job?

• Apply GMP/GLP standards in all areas of responsibility to ensure compliance and quality.
• Learn to conduct routine analyses independently using advanced instrumentation such as UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS.
• Document work accurately and maintain comprehensive laboratory records.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to team discussions.
• Perform peer reviews of data to ensure accuracy and reliability.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant scientific field (Chemistry, Biology, BioChemistry, etc).
• 6 Months relevant laboratory experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Ability to work with chemistry materials and food allergens.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
