Analytical Scientist (Permanent-fulltime)A Sr. Analytical Scientist / Chemist (minimum 5+ year's industry experience) who is knowledgeable in the areas of method development, method validation, and drug characterization is required for this position. Responsibilities will include departmental strategy and collaboration with other departments.Essential functions of the position include the following:Develop and validate methods for experimental drug candidatesPerform characterization studies for impurities, degradants, intermediates, and active components of drug substances and drug productsWrite and review method transfer protocols and method SOP'sPerform analytical testing to support process development and release/stability testing.The main focus for this spot is Conjugation experience any experience with Hemoglobin and /or Pegulation are major plus.Technical experience must include analysis of proteins by HPLC (SEC, RP-HPLC, IEX), electrophoretic techniques (SDS-PAGE, IEF, Western blotting), and spectroscopy (UV and VIS)Additional technical experience in the following areas is preferred: biophysical techniques (CD, FTIR, DSC); mass spectrometry (electrospray, MALDI); capillary electrophoresis; peptide mapping; amino acid analysis; protein sequencingWorking knowledge of important aspects of analytical development in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly pertaining to cGMP and method validation requirements
