Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for a current or aspiring analytical and technical analyst who excels at delivering analytics that drive action, builds trust, and partners effectively across multiple functional areas (Corporate Agency, Planning & Analysis, Enterprise Technology, Enterprise Research, etc.). You should have a passion for development within a high-performing technical/data team.

On this team, you will lead efforts to determine how Agency Channel Performance can best leverage business insights and analytics to make strategic decisions and measure progress. In this role, you will become a trusted analytical partner to teams within Agency Channel Performance, ensuring our business partners have the insights needed to execute on strategic priorities. You will also work closely with the new Agency Analytics function, which provides data support, analytics, and insights to the broader Corporate Agency department. This partnership will be essential to our collective success.

You will use data from a variety of quantitative and qualitative sources to assess progress toward outcomes and provide valuable insights into the factors influencing results. The selected candidate will work with a variety of roles at all levels of the organization and must therefore possess strong communication skills—written, verbal, andpresentation. This role requires significant autonomy, so you should be a self-starter, decisive, and able to apply good judgment.

The ideal candidate will also possess insatiable curiosity and a passion for deep understanding—constantly asking “Why?” and seeking to know more to develop greater insight into the topics being explored. While this job includes reporting responsibilities, it is primarily a business intelligence role focused on developing and cultivating intelligence to inform decision-making.


Qualifications

  • Proficient in SQL and experienced in utilizing scripting languages such as Python and R for data analysis
  • Experience in solving analytical problems and discovering actionable insights through quantitative methodologies, including defining success measures/KPIs and conducting hypothesis tests; familiarity with statistical modeling is a plus
  • Experience using AWS (Athena, Redshift, etc)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, QuickSight, etc.) and BI tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to tell a compelling story with data and words
  • Ability to understand and integrate various data sources to create meaningful metrics and validate hypotheses
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and growth mindset
  • Customer experience focused mindset
  • Ability to learn and apply new technical skills quickly
  • Possess advanced MS Excel skills

Additional desired skills:

  • Support the design and analysis of experiments (e.g., A/B tests and quasi-experimental studies) under guidance
  • Ability to automate analytical process resulting in consistent delivery of analytics and insights for business partners, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Comfortable utilizing Github Copilot to assist on analytics and documentation

Work Locations: Bloomington, IL-Corporate, Dunwoody, GA-ParkCenter Hub, Richardson, TX-CityLine Hub or Tempe, AZ-Marina Heights Hub locations.

Hybrid Work arrangement:  A "Hybrid" position means selected candidates will be assigned to a facility and will spend some time working both in office and from their home.

  • Potential starting salary range: $97,000- $149,000
    • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
    • High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
