    Description

    Role: Analytics Engineer
    Location: On-site, New York, NY
    Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 base + competitive equity

    About the Role

    A well-funded, mission-driven startup in the healthcare and life sciences space is hiring an Analytics Engineer to design and maintain the company’s data foundation. In this full-time, on-site role, you'll ensure that high-quality, decision-grade data is available across product, operations, growth, and leadership teams.

    You’ll be responsible for modeling and transforming raw data, maintaining the analytics stack, and building dashboards that provide real-time insights into company performance. This is a high-impact, cross-functional position with significant autonomy and ownership.

    What Will You Do

    • Build and maintain core data models to support both internal analytics and external reporting

    • Design and manage pipelines that convert raw data into analytics-ready formats

    • Create dashboards and reporting tools used by product, ops, and go-to-market teams

    • Standardize metrics definitions and ensure cross-team consistency

    • Improve and scale the analytics infrastructure using tools like BigQuery, Dataform, and Fivetran

    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into data systems

    • Contribute to data governance, documentation, and internal analytics best practices

    What Will You Bring

    • Experience as an analytics engineer or data engineer in a high-growth environment

    • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience using modern data tools (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Airflow)

    • Familiarity with GCP BigQuery or similar cloud-based data warehouses

    • Ability to balance clean data modeling with speed and adaptability

    • Strong cross-functional communication skills and a collaborative mindset

    • Bias toward ownership, execution, and continuous learning

    • Comfortable working in-person five days per week in a fast-paced startup environment

    Compensation and Perks

    • Base salary: $150,000 – $200,000
