IDR is seeking an Android Developer to join one of our top clients for an onsite opportunity in Bellevue, WA. This role involves supporting a major retail mobile application migration project, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition to a new platform. The position offers a chance to contribute to a high-profile consumer-facing application in the e-commerce sector.
Position Overview for the Android Developer:
- Support the migration of an existing retail mobile application from its current platform/framework to a new platform.
- Design, develop, modify, and maintain Android application components using Kotlin.
- Develop and support application functionality utilizing React Native.
- Analyze existing application functionality and determine migration or rebuilding strategies.
- Monitor application behavior throughout the migration process, ensuring stability and performance.
Requirements for the Android Developer:
- Professional experience developing native Android mobile applications.
- Strong hands-on development experience with Kotlin.
- Experience with React Native.
- Strong understanding of Android application architecture and mobile development best practices.
- Experience integrating mobile applications with APIs and backend services.
