This role is a potential contract to hire and will require resources that do not require sponsorship now or in the future. As a senior developer, you will participate in the full app life-cycle, from concept to release, and work closely with product teams on new product ideas, designs, and prototypes.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Android Studio.
• Proficient in Kotlin, Web Services, Rest Services, Core Java, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, XML.
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket, and knowledge of C-based libraries.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Experience with continuous integration & Unit tests.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, usage of Camera APIs, etc.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Designing and building native mobile applications on the Android platform.
• Designing and implementing application updates.
• Collaborating with the design team to define app features.
• Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications.
• Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.
• Fixing application bugs before the final release.
• Maintaining the code and atomization of the application.
