Job Description: Seeking an experienced Android Developer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise mobile applications for the Android platform. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Kotlin or Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, REST API integration, mobile architecture patterns, and modern Android development practices. This role requires hands-on experience translating UI/UX wireframes into responsive interfaces, integrating backend APIs, troubleshooting defects, optimizing performance, and delivering secure, scalable, and user-friendly Android applications across multiple devices and environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Android mobile applications using Kotlin and/or Java
• Translate UI/UX wireframes and designs into intuitive, functional mobile interfaces
• Integrate Android applications with backend APIs, REST services, and third-party systems
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and efficient code following mobile development best practices
• Perform unit testing, instrumentation testing, debugging, and defect remediation activities
• Optimize mobile application performance, responsiveness, and stability across multiple devices
• Monitor application performance and resolve bottlenecks affecting usability and reliability
• Implement modern architecture patterns including MVVM, MVP, and Jetpack components
• Manage local storage solutions including Room and SQLite databases
• Support periodic updates, maintenance, release activities, and application enhancements
• Ensure mobile security, application stability, and protection of user data

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA teams, and product managers
• Participate in technical discussions, feature prioritization, and sprint planning activities
• Support troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production issue remediation
• Evaluate and adopt new mobile technologies and Android best practices
• Maintain development quality standards, testing coverage, and documentation practices

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java for Android development
• Strong experience with Android Studio and Android SDK
• Experience implementing MVVM, MVP, or modern Android architecture patterns
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and backend service integration
• Experience with Jetpack libraries and Android mobile frameworks
• Experience with Room Database, SQLite, and local storage mechanisms
• Strong testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization capabilities
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience building secure, scalable, and high-performing Android applications

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8%2B years of Android development experience required
• Experience translating UI/UX wireframes into enterprise mobile applications preferred
• Strong mobile performance tuning, testing, and production support experience preferred
• Experience supporting enterprise mobile development environments preferred
