Title :-Android Integration Engineer 
Location :- Ottawa, Ontario (4 Days Onsite)
Duration :-12+Months Contract(With Possibility of extension) 
Pay Rate Range : $50-70 /hr (T4 Only)

1. Responsible for integrating common software components to our platform. Platform is on Android and QNX. 
2. Learn and own the integrated components. 
3. Understand code analyze it root cause issue and fix them. 
4. Regularly improve reliability of components by addressing common issue. 
5. Regularly analyze logs to find potential issues and improve logging for better root causing the issues. 

Position Overview: The Systems Integration Engineer will be responsible for integrating common software components across systems triaging and debugging complex issues and ensuring seamless communication between components and ECUs. 
This role requires strong problem-solving skills hands-on debugging experience and a solid understanding of system-level interactions networking and embedded environments. 
Skills Android build system knowledge including fundamentals Activities Services Intents Watchdog. 
Strong C knowledge 
ability to analyze code identify root causes and debug issues. 
Experience working within Agile development processes. Networking domain knowledge 
Ethernet virtual and physical networks socket communication. 
Android middleware knowledge eg HAL System Service SEpolicy IPC via AIDL UDS. 
Build system understanding ¿ knowledge of how code is compiled and built. Programming background C or Java 
Hands-on experience preferred strong debugging capability required role is not heavily focused on development but requires deep understanding of code behavior. 
Experience with log analysis and system-level defect debugging. 
Systems integration and system performance knowledge. 
Tool like wireshark tombstone gdb. 
Strong knowledge in git operation Knowledge 
Android.bp and makefile Familiarity with copilot AI agent Experience 
Required: Engineer 3 Exp: software development experience in c/C Android Platform development. 
6 years in IT 4 years in development Experience
