Anesthesia - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Responsible for assuming responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame; providing care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process (both direct and indirect); the health care team members, and the environment; and contributing to the assigned operating room procedures.

Current Mississippi Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Licensure

Current ACLS certification

Current BLS certification

Graduate from a two (2) or more year accredited nurse anesthesia education program

Must meet the continuing education and re-certification requirements imposed by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
