Responsibilities

  • Assist anesthesiologists in preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment.

  • Monitor patient vital signs during anesthesia procedures.

  • Participate in continuous education and professional development opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards in the operating room.

  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care.

  • Contribute to achieving departmental performance targets and goals.

  • Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient responses.

  • Evaluate and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment as needed.

  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding anesthesia procedures.

  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new anesthesia staff.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the anesthesia department.

  • Assist in inventory management of anesthesia supplies.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Experience in anesthesia technology or related healthcare field.

  • Ability to monitor and interpret patient vital signs effectively.

  • Strong understanding of anesthesia equipment and its maintenance.

  • Familiarity with safety and hygiene standards in healthcare.

  • Commitment to continuous education and professional development.

  • Excellent communication skills with patients and surgical teams.

  • Proficient in maintaining accurate records and documentation.

  • Ability to assist in training and mentoring new staff members.

  • Experience in inventory management of medical supplies.

  • Willingness to participate in quality improvement initiatives.
