job is ON - SITE. FTE: 0.001000 Shift: Rotating Schedule: This is an
optional part-time/as needed position with variable shift opportunities
to support increased anesthesia demand in OR and non-OR locations. Ideal
availability 1500 - 1900, but will consider other availability. Job
Summary: The Anesthesia Technician assists with direct patient care
activities, supporting the Anesthesia Providers during delivery of
anesthesia. Working in the operating room, the incumbent provides
technical services to the anesthesiologist including blood analysis,
patient care equipment set-up and inspection, and assistance with basic
patient care procedures. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1 year of patient
related care experience is required or completion of 2 years as an
Anesthesia aide along with 1 year of Anesthesia tech progression
training. EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Associate degree from an accredited allied health field. LICENSURE:
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare
Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days
