| Job Description: | Are you passionate about veterinary medicine and looking to build a rewarding career in the field? Join the University of Florida's esteemed veterinary team as a Veterinary Assistant in our Anesthesia Service. Here, you'll play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians and veterinary technicians, enabling them to focus on safely delivering anesthesia to our patients. You'll rotate through the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, assist with patient recovery, and work closely with anesthesia technicians during the induction and recovery phases, including for diagnostic imaging procedures performed under anesthesia. Additionally, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of anesthesia equipment, ensuring that all machines, monitoring devices, and related tools are in optimal working condition. Key Responsibilities: Walking patients and providing safe animal restraint for procedures such as exams, catheter placements, and bandage changes.

| Expected Salary: | Salary range: $15–$17 per hour, depending on experience. |
