Anesthesiologist – VA Contract | Albany, NY
Contract Type: Locum Tenens
Location: Albany, New York
Proposed Start Date: November 1, 2026
Contract Term: 12 months with renewal options
Seeking a qualified Anesthesiologist to provide anesthesia services in a VA hospital setting supporting a diverse patient population.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree (MD or DO)
- 1+ year of Anesthesiology experience
- 1+ year of Credentialing experience
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Current, unrestricted medical license
- Valid DEA registration
- Current BLS certification: AHA BLS or ARC BLS
- Current Advanced Life Support certification: AHA ACLS, ARC ALS, or ATLS
- Ability to meet VA credentialing, privileging, and background requirements
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Some rotation for weekday, night, weekend, and holiday coverage as required
