Key Responsibilities

Clinical Anesthesia Services
<\/h3>
<\/p>
• Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical and procedural cases
<\/div>
• Conduct comprehensive pre -operative patient evaluations
<\/div>
• Develop individualized anesthesia care plans
<\/div>
• Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and provide post -anesthesia care
<\/div>

Surgical Case Coverage
<\/h3>
Provide anesthesia services for procedures including:
<\/p>
<\/p>
• Endoscopy
<\/div>
• Orthopedic Surgery
<\/div>
• General Surgery
<\/div>
• Urology
<\/div>
• Spine Surgery
<\/div>
• Vascular Surgery
<\/div>
• ENT (Otolaryngology)
<\/div>

Patient Safety & Collaboration
<\/h3>
<\/p>
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative staff
<\/div>
• Ensure adherence to evidence -based anesthesia practices and patient safety standards
<\/div>
• Respond to perioperative emergencies as needed
<\/div>

Documentation & Quality

• Maintain accurate anesthesia records and procedural documentation
<\/div>
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental education
<\/div>
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Requirements<\/h3>
Required Qualifications
<\/h2>
<\/p>
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
<\/div>
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
<\/div>
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of New York
<\/div>
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
<\/div>
• Commitment to patient -centered, team -based care

Call Schedule

• Approximately 1:5 call rotation

• Call weeks run Wednesday through Tuesday

• Approximately 9–10 call weeks annually

• Includes 1–2 holiday call assignments per year

• Regular weekday schedule continues during call weeks
