    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Coryell Health. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering anesthesia and perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

    No Call; No Weekends

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate patients' medical histories and physical conditions to determine the appropriate anesthetic plan
    • Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia
    • Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and adjust anesthesia as needed
    • Manage patients' pain levels before, during, and after surgical procedures
    • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
    • Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care when necessary
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
    • Mentor and supervise nurse anesthetists and anesthesiology residents, if applicable
    • Stay current with the latest developments in anesthesiology and pain management

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
    • Current certification or eligibility as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
    • Active Texas RN license and APRN authorization, or ability to obtain
    • Current Texas CRNA/APRN licensure and prescriptive authority (if applicable)
    • DEA and DPS registrations (or ability to obtain)
    • Current BLS and ACLS certification
