Pay & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $98.66

What Youll Do
Conduct pre-operative evaluations and optimize upcoming surgical patients
Review patient history, physicals, and relevant documentation
Utilize facility protocols for patient assessment and optimization
Coordinate referrals and necessary follow-ups
Collaborate closely with the Surgery/Anesthesia team across multiple specialties including Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Urology
Perform outpatient chart reviews and data collection
Support care coordination efforts to ensure smooth patient flow
What You Need
NY State license in good standing
Active BLS certification
Epic Electronic Medical Record experience
Board Certification
APP experience in pre-anesthesia/testing settings
Strong organizational and communication skills
About the Assignment
This outpatient, pre-operative assessment role involves chart review, patient assessment, and data collection within a busy surgical setting. No procedures or surgical responsibilities are required. You will work closely with surgical teams to evaluate and optimize patients before their procedures, providing important preoperative care in a clinical environment focused on patient safety and quality outcomes.
