Healthcare United is seeking a full-time Anesthesiology Pain Management Physician to join an established outpatient practice in Fort Pierce, Florida.

This position is heavily focused on interventional pain management and is ideal for an anesthesiologist with Pain Medicine training and direct experience treating personal injury and workers’ compensation patients.

The physician will maintain a strong procedural schedule while evaluating acute and chronic pain conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and completing the detailed documentation required for PI and workers’ compensation cases.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain an interventional-heavy pain management schedule
• Evaluate and treat acute and chronic pain conditions
• Manage personal injury and workers’ compensation patients
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Perform appropriate interventional pain procedures
• Review imaging, medical histories, and previous treatment records
• Document clinical findings, medical necessity, treatment recommendations, and patient progress
• Coordinate care with referring providers, case managers, attorneys, and clinical staff when appropriate
• Educate patients regarding procedures and expected outcomes
• Monitor treatment response and modify care plans as needed

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology
• Pain Medicine fellowship training or substantial interventional pain experience
• Personal injury and workers’ compensation experience required
• Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
• Strong procedural and clinical documentation skills
• No visa sponsorship available
