What You’ll Do

• Provide anesthesia care for general and specialty surgeries, including GYN, OB, vascular, urology, neuro/spine, ortho, ENT/dental, ENT, EP, and GI procedures.
• Manage cardiac cases such as open-heart surgeries and TAVRs, including TEE support.
• Support hospital and surgery center coverage, including weekend and weekday call duties.
• Support staff with anesthesia tech support during the week and with cardiac cases during on-call shifts.
• Perform medical direction in collaboration with CRNAs/CAAs and solo cases during call hours.
• Ensure patient safety and anesthesia quality for adult and healthy pediatric patients.

What You Need
Required:

• Wisconsin State Medical License
• Board Certification in Anesthesiology
• TEE skills for cardiac coverage
• Ability to work independently during call shifts

Preferred:

• Experience with general and cardiac anesthesia procedures
• Comfortable working in a hospital and surgery center setting

This assignment is at a community hospital and surgery center setting, offering a mix of medical direction with CRNAs/CAAs and solo cases for anesthesia professionals. You will be providing anesthesia services for a wide variety of surgical procedures on adult and healthy pediatric patients, with support for complex cardiac cases including open-heart surgeries.
