What You’ll Do

• Provide anesthesiology services for adult patients, primarily involving routine anesthesia and blocks for orthopedic cases
• Support anesthesia care in a hospital setting with a team of CRNAs and anesthesia techs
• Support patient care from pre-operative assessment through post-operative recovery
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure safe, effective anesthesia procedures
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC EMR system
• Manage scheduled cases and respond to emergency anesthesia needs during work hours and call shifts

What You Need
Required:

• Current PA license
• Board-certified or eligible in Anesthesiology
• ACLS certification
• DEA registration
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in anesthesia

Preferred:

• Experience with orthopedic procedures and blocks
• Experience working with CRNAs and anesthesia techs

This assignment is at a well-respected hospital with 76 beds, 4 ORs, and specialized units including L&D and a cath lab. The anesthesiology team supports a patient population of adults with an average of 10 cases per day, focusing on safe, efficient anesthesia care.
