What You'll Need:
- Recent (last 2-3+ years) experience in both outpatient and inpatient surgical cases
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology, or eligible with fellowship training
- Valid California Medical License and DEA with Schedule 2/2n registration
- Minimum of 2 years of anesthesiology experience, preferably in tertiary care centers
- Proficiency working solo and experience or interest in regional anesthesia (preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
- Capable of floating between facilities and covering high-acuity cases as needed
- Strong communication and professional references ready upon request
Nice to Have Skills:
- Regional anesthesia expertise
- Experience working with CRNAs
- Interest in high-acuity (ASA 3+) cases
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Fellowship-trained in Anesthesiology
- Recent practice at tertiary or advanced care hospitals
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to support a flexible schedule, including 10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:00)
- Ability to travel or work at sister facilities in San Francisco (Bay Front, Mt. Zion, Mission Bay, Parnassus, Burlingame)
- Ability to start by June 15, 2026, with credentialing typically completed within 60-90 days
- Work schedule includes holiday premium pay at 1.5x rate for select days
