Job Summary

The Judge Group is seeking a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a high-performing clinical team. This full-time, permanent position offers long-term stability, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative surgical environment. The CRNA will deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a range of procedures while adhering to established clinical standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Anesthesia Care and Patient Management

  • Provide anesthesia services for surgical, obstetric, and procedural cases
  • Administer general anesthesia and manage patient sedation
  • Perform continuous monitoring of patient vital signs and physiological status
  • Establish and manage patient airways, including mask ventilation, LMA, and intubation
  • Respond to airway, respiratory, and hemodynamic complications
  • Support patient transfer to post-anesthesia care and recovery areas
  • Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations
  • Manage acute pain and promote patient comfort throughout the care continuum

Clinical Preparation and Equipment Oversight

  • Prepare anesthesia medications, supplies, and equipment prior to procedures
  • Inspect and test anesthesia machines and gas delivery systems
  • Review patient medical histories and assess anesthesia-related risks
  • Collaborate with physicians on complex or high-risk cases
  • Verify availability of blood products and emergency resources
  • Monitor clinical equipment and report service or maintenance needs

Documentation and Systems

  • Document patient assessments, care, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Complete all anesthesia-related clinical and billing documentation
  • Ensure records are accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner

Compliance, Safety, and Quality

  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
  • Follow organizational policies, clinical protocols, and safety standards
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Adhere to infection control practices, including use of PPE and safe medication handling

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Communicate effectively during shift handoffs and patient transitions
  • Identify changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
  • Current and unrestricted state licensure
  • Demonstrated experience in anesthesia administration and patient monitoring
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical documentation
  • Strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and continuous improvement
