Angular Software Engineer - 3633216

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Angular Developer position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and can be hybrid in Buffalo, NY or REMOTE. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C.

Position Overview:

This role focuses on modernizing legacy applications by upgrading Angular apps to current versions and improving overall performance and user experience. You’ll also support the migration of applications from on-prem environments to Azure, working across front-end, cloud, and API layers.

Ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on development in Angular, building and integrating REST APIs, and leveraging Azure (including APIM) to deliver scalable, modern solutions.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design, analyze, develop, and support applications ranging from basic to complex enhancements
• Support in the Angular version upgrade to Angular 20 while also migrating applications to Azure cloud
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and services
• Design, implement, and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM), ensuring secure and scalable integrations
• Lead and coordinate development tasks across small to large-scale initiatives
• Develop and execute test plans, including debugging and validation
• Analyze system integrations and dependencies across platforms and applications
• Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and specifications
• Ensure stability, performance, and efficiency of supported applications

What You'll Need to Have:

• Minimum of 5+ years of application development experience
• Strong experience with Ang?ular (primary requirement)
• Strong experience with REST API development and integration
• Experience supporting production systems in a highly regulated environment
• Experience with Java or .NET (experience with both is a strong plus)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills 

Not Required, But Would Set You Apart:

• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure API Management (APIM) preferred
• Experience with both Java and .NET is a strong plus
• Strong understanding of modern web architecture and front-end best practices

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hr
