Join the team at Greenville County Animal Care to enhance the lives of shelter animals by providing daily enrichment activities. This temporary, grant-funded position requires approximately 25 hours per week, with some weekends included. As an Animal Enrichment Specialist, you will facilitate playgroups and play pairs, implement enrichment activities, and coordinate with staff for smooth operations. You will also document observed animal behaviors. Ideal candidates have experience working with dogs and cats, a confident and outgoing personality to engage and train volunteers, ensuring safety for both people and animals. Candidates must be physically able to handle and interact with animals. Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work in a team are essential.
