    Job Description

    Minimum Qualifications

    Eighth grade. Six months of experience in animal handling, pet shelter services or customer service are required. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts. Completion of college coursework may substitute for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis.

Your daily responsibilities will include maintaining clean kennels, feeding and walking the animals, assisting with meet-and-greet sessions for potential adopters, and using shelter software to track and manage animal care. Incumbents in this position lift in order to carry out their daily duties in the care of animals or handling of shelter supplies.
