We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Animal-Assisted Therapist to provide structured, therapeutic interactions that support emotional, behavioral, and mental well-being. Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions involving trained therapy animals
- Develop and implement structured, goal-oriented interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and client progress
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of both clients and animals
- Collaborate with team members to support overall care plans
Qualifications
- Experience in animal-assisted therapy or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of animal behavior and handling practices
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
- Background in behavioral health, therapy, or a related discipline preferred
