Annuals/Flowers Supervisor

Position Summary

The Annuals & Flowers Supervisor leads seasonal flower and annual installations while working hands-on with the crew. This role is primarily field-based, with limited office responsibilities. The position is seasonal, with a winter layoff period and snow participation as needed.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met on all job sites
• Supervise and work alongside a crew of approximately 4-8 employees installing and maintaining annuals and flowers
• Order plant material from nurseries and maintain accurate inventory
• Plan daily work activities and communicate progress, needs, and issues to management
• Train crew members on proper planting techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures
• Participate in snow operations during winter months as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in landscaping, horticulture, or seasonal color installation preferred
• Previous crew lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs

Schedule & Seasonal Expectations

• Full-time during peak growing season
• Seasonal layoff during winter months
• Snow work required as needed during winter weather events
