Description:
Our Antenna Engineering team is responsible for designing antennas from HF through millimeter wave. As an Antenna Systems and Test Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and seeing through test and integration plans of antenna systems. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of antenna, mechanical, RF, digital, and software engineers to ensure all sub-system components work together as designed. You will also analyze test results to help Design Engineers refine their creations and find solutions to improve imperfect systems. General knowledge of broadband antenna apertures, RF distribution devices (transmission lines, switch matrices, amplifiers), digital control interfaces, and transceiver radios are needed to be successful in this role.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of experience with antenna and RF HW can substitute for B.S. degree; a technician level position may be available
- Up to 25% domestic travel
Preferences:
- Able to develop test plans to verify system requirements (or may have to just ensure expected performance metrics based on system block diagrams, schematics, and RF cascade simulations)
- Experience with VNAs, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, and other lab equipment to test active and passive RF circuits and antennas
- Experience measuring far-field antenna manifold patterns in anechoic chambers as well as outdoor test facilities
- Experience with receive and transmit antenna systems
- Some experience with software tools for data analysis and/or automating test setups
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary technical team environment
- Passive antenna prototyping experience is a plus
SALARY RANGE
Full-time : $75,000 - $200,000 per year
Intern : $25.00 - $60.00 per hour
