C2BMC 26-206 - Anti Tamper Systems/Hardware Engineer
JOB SUMMARY:
The AntiTamper Systems/Hardware Engineer serves as a technical lead supporting program protection efforts by developing and maintaining AntiTamper strategies, plans, and assessments. This role applies advanced expertise to identify and mitigate risks to Critical Program Information, ensuring secure system design and compliance with defense requirements. The engineer collaborates closely with government stakeholders and internal teams to define System Security Engineering solutions, support fielding decisions, and drive program protection outcomes across a complex, multi-site environment. Some travel between Colorado Springs and Huntsville, AL will be required.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Coordinate with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Anti-Tamper (AT) and program leadership on updates and/or changes to the system
Perform Anti-Tamper Risk and Threat Management Assessments and develop reports for the program
Develop analysis processes and prepare the Anti-Tamper (AT) plan, including coordination and input for near-term fielding decisions
Develop, deliver, and maintain:
Anti-Tamper Plan
Anti-Tamper Evaluation Plan
Key Management Plan
Program Protection Plan
Develop, deliver, and maintain Critical Program Information (CPI) analysis, Defense Exportability Assessments, and defense export strategy
Develop and maintain waivers for CPI, Anti-Tamper, or defense exportability requirements
Assess Anti-Tamper designs and implementation plans to support verification and validation efforts
Identify risk-based technical countermeasures for protecting Critical Program Information and critical components
Provide recommendations to improve program protection while meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives
Brief Anti-Tamper and Program Protection requirements; prepare white papers and evaluations as required
Support program milestone reviews and fielding decisions by ensuring Anti-Tamper and Program Protection products are approved and meet entrance criteria
Collaborate with customers to define System Security Engineering (SSE) requirements, solutions, trade studies, costs, implementation details, system impacts, and effectiveness
Support planning and estimation activities, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation
Keep senior management informed of major accomplishments, issues, and concerns
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Ability to work independently with minimal direction; work is reviewed based on long-term outcomes
Experience where decisions impact major organizational objectives
Ability to function in project leadership roles
Experience serving as a primary customer contact on significant technical matters

Ability to analyze high-level needs and refine them into structured, evolving minimum viable product (MVP) solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to clearly present technical approaches and findings
Experience developing and implementing engineering plans within a project
Proven success working in team environments
Experience engineering automation pipelines in environments with rapidly changing requirements, novel design challenges, and tight deadlines
Understanding of Anti-Tamper and exportability concerns and application of secure hardware/software methodologies
Ability to work independently in a highly dynamic environment
Self-starter with strong research and documentation skills
EDUCATION: Bachelors with 7+ or Master with 5+ Years of Experience
