Middletown Township Public Schools is looking for the following qualified Teacher for the Alternate School Intervention Program

Anticipated Alternate School Intervention Program

9/30/2026 - 6/30/2027

Requirements and Qualifications:

• NJ Secondary Teaching Certificate required, ie. English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science and/or Teacher of the Handicapped required
• NJ School Social Worker, School Psychologist, or School Counseling certificate preferred
• High School teaching experience preferred
• Understanding of NJ Student Learning Standards and differentiation of instruction preferred
• Knowledge of academic intervention strategies preferred
• Experience with Intervention and Referral Services (strong understanding of effective emotional and academic interventions) preferred
• Ability to provide social skills support and skill based instruction to students preferred
• Knowledge of ADA and 504 Accommodation Plans preferred
• Evidence of effective counseling skills for regular and special education students preferred

The Middletown Township School District offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Terms of Employment:

• Salary Range $60,673 - $122,533
