This position is for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities/Credential/ Qualifications:

• Must hold New Jersey Career and Technical Education Teaching Certificate for Teacher of Culinary Arts #4128 (9-12)
• Must be knowledgeable in the most current Adobe Suite version.
• Must be well versed in how to plan and price menu items, order supplies, and keep records and accounts.
• Must be well versed in how to manage staff in a commercial kitchen which include how to prepare and cook foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions and monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations
• Must be able to manage and prepare a budget for the purchasing necessary supplies for the program.
• Must be able to prepare and deliver relevant course content using a variety of teaching methods and assessments that support student learning.
• Must have an understanding of career paths in restaurant management and culinary arts.
• Must be able to navigate various learning platforms such as Schoology.

BA: Step 1 $61,500.00- MA+30 Step 21 $104,807
