Anticipated Grade 5 Teacher, Long-term Substitute

Kingston Intermediate School (KIS), a grades 3 through 6 school, is seeking a Long-term Substitute (LTS) Grade 5 Teacher.

This assignment is begins immediately and will likely continue through the remainder of this school year.

A successful candidate will:

• possess a valid MA license to teach grades 1-6, Elementary (1-6)
• collaborate with grade level teachers
• use data to inform instruction
• communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing
• work with students, colleagues and families from diverse backgrounds with diverse needs in an inclusive and culturally proficient manner
• support students academically, emotionally, and behaviorally
• report directly to the building principal

Salary is $312.30 per day beginning on day 1.
