Summary:
We are seeking a certified Physical Education Teacher to join our team at Cinnaminson Middle School as a replacement for a staff member on an anticipated leave of absence. This leave is temporary and will run from on or about September 20, 2026 through the end of March 2027. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction in health and physical education to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans for physical education classes
- Instruct students on proper techniques and safety procedures for various physical activities
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback on their performance
- Promote healthy habits and lifestyles to students
- Maintain a safe and clean learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate school-wide events and activities
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field
- Teaching certification in Physical Education
- Knowledge of current physical education standards and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators
- Must pass a background check and maintain a clean criminal record.
