Anticipated - Preschool Child Care Wrap Group Leader (Short or Long Term Substitute)

We have an anticipated opening for potential short or long term substitute in our Preschool Child Care Wrap Program.

Hours: Monday-Friday 10:00 am-4:00 pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Classroom Leadership: Support the Site Coordinator in planning and executing daily educational and creative activities, and take charge of the classroom routine in their absence.
• Child Supervision & Care: Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children ages 3 to 5, supervising indoor and outdoor play.
• Development Support: Help prepare learning materials, and apply positive behavioral guidance techniques.
• Family Communication: Assist in building positive relationships with parents and share daily progress updates when requested.
• Health & Safety: Monitor children''s health, enforce safety rules, and maintain a clean room.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Education: High school diploma required; an Early Childhood Education (ECE) credential, CDA, or college credits in a related field are strongly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of professional experience working with preschool-age children.
• Certifications: A clear background check and fingerprinting as required by state law. Valid CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus.
• Physical Skills: Ability to actively interact with children, kneel, sit on the floor, and lift up to 35 pounds.
