Description: Teacher - Psychologist
Job Summary: The TEACHER PSYCHOLOGIST provides critical support to students, families, and educators by delivering comprehensive psychological services to the
Lakota Local School District. This role focuses on assessing student needs, implementing interventions, and fostering a positive school climate that promotes
academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success. School Psychologist collaborates with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized
strategies, ensuring students receive the support necessary to thrive in school. Additionally, the psychologist functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team
to determine a student''s eligibility for special education services, appropriate programming, and ongoing progress. This role ensures compliance with state and
federal regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA2004).
Qualifications: Master''s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
Valid Professional School Psychologist License from the Ohio Board of Psychology
Experience working with diverse student populations in a K-12 setting.
Valid driver''s license
Working Conditions: 7.75 hours per day, 5 days per week, 184 days per school year calendar.
