    Serve

    as

    technical

    support

    resource

    for

    district

    staff

    and

    students,

    focusing

    on

    Windows

    desktop/laptop

    imaging,

    desktop

    support,

    Chromebook

    ecosystem

    management,

    Mobile

    Device

    Management

    (MDM)

    for

    iPads,

    and

    Active

    Directory/Google

    Workspace

    user

    administration.

    Manage

    endpoint

    security

    (Sophos

    AV)

    and

    provide

    secondary

    support

    to

    the

    IT

    Director

    and

    Network

    Administrator

    for

    general

    local

    network

    maintenance

    and

    basic

    infrastructure

    troubleshooting.

    Education

    &

    Experience:

    1.

    Associate

    degree

    in

    Information

    Technology,

    Computer

    Networking,

    or

    related

    technical

    field

    (or

    equivalent

    technical

    training/certifications

    such

    as

    CompTIA

    A+

    or

    Network+)

    and

    2+

    years

    of

    hands-on

    IT

    support

    experience.

    B.

    Technical

    Skills:

    1.

    Experience

    managing

    user

    accounts,

    groups,

    and

    organizational

    units

    in

    Google

    Admin

    Console

    and

    Active

    Directory.

    2.

    Strong

    background

    in

    Windows

    PC

    hardware

    repair,

    OS

    troubleshooting,

    laptop

    imaging,

    and

    system

    deployment.

    3.

    Hands-on

    experience

    supporting

    Chromebooks

    and

    utilizing

    Mobile

    Device

    Management

    (MDM)

    solutions

    for

    iPad

    deployment

    and

    management.

    4.

    Practical

    experience

    with

    Sophos

    Antivirus

    (or

    similar

    enterprise

    endpoint

    protection

    software)

    for

    client

    management

    and

    threat

    remediation.

    5.

    Basic

    knowledge

    of

    local

    networking

    concepts

    (Ethernet

    cabling,

    Wi-Fi

    connections,

    switch

    ports,

    and

    IP

    addressing).

    Serve

    point

    contact

    in-person,

    phone,

    and

    ticketing-system

    support

    requests

    regarding

    Windows

    PCs,

    Chromebooks,

    printers,

    applications,

    and

    general

    device

    issues.

    2.

    Imaging

    &

    Windows

    Deployment:

    Build,

    image,

    configure,

    and

    deploy

    Windows

    laptops,

    desktops,

    and

    peripherals

    for

    staff

    and

    classroom

    use.

    3.

    Device

    &

    MDM

    Management:

    Support

    Chromebook

    deployment

    and

    hardware

    maintenance;

    utilize

    MDM

    software

    to

    configure,

    track,

    and

    deploy

    iPads

    across

    the

    district.

    4.

    Identity

    &

    Account

    Management:

    Administer

    day-to-day

    user

    accounts,

    password

    resets,

    group

    memberships,

    and

    permissions

    within

    Google

    Admin

    Console

    and

    Active

    Directory.

    5.

    Endpoint

    Security:

    Oversee

    Sophos

    Antivirus

    client

    installation

    on

    Windows

    endpoints,

    monitor

    console

    alerts,

    and

    execute

    malware/threat

    cleanups

    as

    needed.

    6.

    Preventative

    Maintenance:

    Clean,

    repair,

    and

    maintain

    hardware

    and

    peripherals

    to

    prevent

    failures.

    B.

    Secondary

    Focus:

    Basic

    Network

    Support

    1.

    Network

    Connectivity:

    Assist

    staff

    with

    physical

    network

    connections,

    drop

    testing,

    Ethernet

    patching,

    and

    Wi-Fi

    connectivity

    issues.

    2.

    Infrastructure

    Assistance:

    Assist

    the

    IT

    Director

    with

    basic

    network

    maintenance

    tasks,

    such

    as

    replacing

    patch

    cables,

    checking

    switch

    status

    lights,

    or

    tracing

    cable

    runs.

    C.

    General

    &

    Administrative

    1.

    Documentation

    &

    Growth:

    Maintain

    technical

    records

    and

    inventory,

    track

    work

    orders,

    and

    continue

    updating

    technical

    skills.

    2.

    General

    Duties:

    Perform

    other

    technical

    and

    operational

    duties

    as

    assigned

    by

    the

    IT

    Director.

    Employment

    will

    be

    dependent

    on

    successful

    completion

    of

    a

    criminal

    background

    check

    as

    mandated

    by

    N.J.S.A.
