The work of this position involves assignments requiring thought and judgment within the framework of established systems and procedures. Qualifications:High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred;Prior experience in school transportation preferred;New Jersey Transportation Coordinator certificate a plus;Knowledge of state laws and regulations governing pupil transportation;Knowledge in computerized communications and data systems;Knowledge of student data/routing in transportation database, Transfinder Plus preferred.Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills;Experience with daily operations of a school transportation department;Keen attention to detail;Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.This is a 12-month position that offers a pleasant work environment, competitive salary ($55,000 to $70,000 contingent upon experience), vacation and holiday schedule and health/dental package.
