Kforce is partnering with a client in Saint Louis to find an AR/AP Manager. Responsibilities:
  • Process vendor invoices, match to purchase orders/receipts, ensure proper coding and approvals, and execute timely payments via check, ACH, or other payment methods
  • Generate and issue customer invoices, apply incoming payments, and maintain accurate customer account records
  • Perform reconciliations of vendor statements, customer accounts, and subledgers to the general ledger while resolving discrepancies promptly
  • Monitor AR aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and assist with collections efforts
  • Respond to vendor and customer billing inquiries while collaborating with internal teams to resolve payment issues
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and analyzing account activity
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records to ensure compliance and audit readiness
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency across AP/AR functions
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting procedures, and internal controls

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Prior experience managing AR, AP, collections, and credit strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of AR/AP processes and internal controls
  • Experience with credit management and collections strategies
  • Knowledge of allocations and reconciliations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of multi-state sales and use tax regulations, including preparation of filings and related reconciliations
  • Experience with Avalara is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
