Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in the Elk Grove Village area, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to support its day-to-day accounting operations. The Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist will work closely with both customers and vendors while helping ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the company's accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Process accounts payable invoices, payment batches, and vendor transactions
• 
  
• Apply customer payments, maintain receivable records, and assist with collections
• 
  
• Review new customer accounts and support credit-related documentation
• 
  
• Assist with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and accounting support
• 
  
• Prepare reports, analyze expenses, and provide documentation for audits
• 
  
• Help resolve payment discrepancies while maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships
• 
  

What We're Looking For

• 
  
• 2–3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist experience
• 
  
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and overall computer proficiency
• 
  
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
•
