Responsibilities of the AP/AR Specialist

• 
  
• Process and verify invoices, ensuring pricing and quantities are accurate
• 
  
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions while maintaining accurate financial records
• 
  
• Enter and reconcile daily cash receipts, credit card transactions, deposits, and bank activity
• 
  
• Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and month-end accounting processes
• 
  
• Prepare financial reports and maintain organized accounting files
• 
  
• Support sales and use tax documentation and recordkeeping
• 
  
• Update financial data within the ERP system (X3) and maintain electronic records
• 
  
• Balance petty cash and provide occasional administrative support, including answering phones and greeting visitors as needed
• 
  

Qualifications for the AP/AR Specialist

• 
  
• 2–3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting
• 
  
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• 
  
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small team environment
• 
  

Compensation

Salary: $50,000–$54,000
