A well-established manufacturing and distribution company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its growing accounting team. The selected candidate will work closely with the Staff Accountant and support the day-to-day accounting operations while gaining exposure to additional accounting responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
Generate customer invoices and manage accounts receivable collections
Apply customer payments and reconcile outstanding balances
Prepare and post journal entries
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Assist with month-end closing activities
Communicate with vendors and customers regarding payment inquiries
Support the accounting team with administrative and financial reporting tasks
